Timur
Ernst
Akhmedov

I was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, then part of the Soviet Union. Since childhood, I was surrounded by images of Socialist Realism, albums of Iranian miniatures, and abstract painting. These influences, together with mythology, legends, and fairy tales, merge in my work into a shimmering, pagan-kitsch visual world.
